Light Thoughts

Todays thought comes from a Rhianna song ‘Diamonds’. -“Shine bright like a diamond”.

We are all diamonds, but make no mistake, we do not come from are coal. That’s a myth.

Diamonds are formed over time by perfect conditions that include pressures deep in the earth. The diamond comes to the surface by powerful external acts-either thru volcanic activity or when tectonic plates move rock closer to earth’s surface.

The diamond doesn’t have to do anything but patiently enjoy the ride once it’s formed. It can be surrounded by muck, dirt, rock, melted rock, and still shine bright. It’s tough! It doesn’t degrade. It doesn’t lose value. It grows.

Diamonds are multipurpose and are used as industrial tools, jewelry, currency, medical equipment, audio equipment, etc. They have unique ability within the light spectrum and are one of the toughest natural formations.

They don’t apologize for being a diamond, they don’t feel bad about how they were formed or polished, they don’t get damaged or destroyed, and they don’t lose value because of the hardship and dirt they traveled thru. They stand and they shine. They share light. They have unique purpose.

Don’t act or feel like rubble just because you may be surrounded by it. A diamond has to go thru a dirty powerful process to make it to the light. Remember who you are. You are a diamond.
